Hello guys, I currently have a database of around 40k articles and I am having problems uploading it as it is really huge! A friend of mine told me about this bigdump.php wherein you'll just upload it to the root directory of the article script along with the database dump to make it easier but I wasn't lucky enough to make it work! Is there anyone here who knows how to operate that bigdump.php or any more ways of uploading a database like that...

If you have access to a shell on that server you can use mysqldump.

Or, you could upload the database to your hosting account and use the "big dumpt" script to import it into the database, it takes seconds to import it, but the upload of the database may take a while
