How do I sell a domain? What would you recommend, sedo or something similar. Should I get it appraised first, or not?

One more vote for Namepros.  Just post a thread and you'll have people ask all the right questions and let them fight over how much it's worth auction style.

Another here for NamePros. It's free, unlike DNforum. DNF has a lot more people in there, so your audience will be way bigger, but then, you need to dish out to buy a member status higher than Gold to participate actually in the selling and buying. NamePros, it's all free as long as you follow the rules. Wink

If you want to find an end buyer then try to sell it on SEDO etc or by emailing the parties who you think will buy your name.

There's several places to sell domains, my prefered ones are Sedo or Namepros.

Some people like Ebay, but it's extremely "hit and miss".

I usually sell them through webmaster sites and some domain name sites.  I'm thinking of trying to sell some through godaddy's selling program.

Using both namepros and sedo is good advice, but you also can market names to many many places from Yahoo to Ebay and more.
