I try to keep plurals and both .net and .com versions.  I have some on hold for future development, and some that I may just sell sooner or later.  Some are just good at bringing in extra traffic.

I actually have a few domains that I have registered for 10 years, so I got a huge discount on that.  I'm slowly moving my "main" sites towards that direction.  I cannot speak for others though.  You also have resellers who pay around $6 per domain name.

ya i agree with you solidghost. i found reseller is a good business to earn nowadays. i currently bought 100 domains. i bought it for my reseller business. i bought all my domains from here. Goresellers.com
