You might be aware of it, or you might not – however you are already doing cloud hosting. Do you check your e-mail via Gmail? Do you share your photos via Flickr?

These are just two popular examples of hosting from the clouds.

With cloud hosting you say goodbye to the old idea of renting a server or shared server space. In its place, cloud hosting provides us with server clustering. Instead of using the power of one server, you have access to the power of many; linked together through visualization

Hi
Generally, a cloud-hosted website is opearting on multiple connected servers. Instead of limited to a single server like what we have in traditional hosting services (dedicated/shared hosting), the website now has the access to multiple servers. Virtually, the processing power is unlimited as you can always add a new server and scale up.

thanks

An obvious disadvantage of cloud hosting right now is price. It is WAY too expensive compared to VPS which what it is trying to replace. I think in a couple of months to a year the prices will dip but for now it will remain high and VPS will still be the choice of host because of the price. There is a chance for being  exposed to security risk and share among other websites the bandwidth available to that one server.

Basically, Cloud VPS's are VPS's which are created on a variety of nodes i.e. servers in lieu of. A cloud-hosted net site is operating on multiple connected servers. In lieu of limited to a single server like what they have in traditional hosting services, the net site now has the access to multiple servers.

Cloud hosting services are the latest trend in the hosting market. Cloud hosting has many advantages over shared hosting services, and sometimes performs better than dedicated hosting solutions. With cloud hosting to say goodbye to the old idea of renting a server or shared server space. Instead, cloud hosting offers server clustering. Instead of using the power of a server, can access the power of many, linked together through the display.
