You mean for SEO?
Not too sure, but I think plural can help for SEO.

i think it really depends on what kind of site you are creating but domain wise i don't think it plays a large roll in value in most cases

It does make a difference... if you are talking about tickets... Plural is definately the way to go.... But in that case I would still reg the singular if it were available. But all branding would go for the plural.

In a lot of cases the domains with double plural are not buy ed. For example webmasterstalks.com was not buy ed because of that, but nobody thinks to this domain as webmaster's talks Smiley.
When I appraised my domain all told me about double plural and about reinterpretation of the name: a lot are thinking to webmaster stalks and not webmaster's talks Smiley

Anyway I think all depends on how promote your domain Smiley

Regards

depends on the type of site you create...
the most successful sites: yahoo , google , msn => one word
the largest sites: wikipedia , youtube , facebook , myspace => two words.

It only matters less, the important is to make your domain short, easy to remember and says about your business.
