Thanx for that . ie profile stuff.

I am not sure about second. I looked into index.template.php but nothing like nofollow or no_rel_follow or robots no_index something.

Actually, I am not sure that how from a template file they can find if its duplicate stuff or not..

Rather we can do some redirection using .htaccess
from this post url

Ok here I am with one feature request as you suggested in another topic.
1. Can we have social bookmarking enable for guests too ?

And one more concern or may a feature later..
Can we split html sitemap to a seperate page ie. sitemap.php because as the forum grow larger then will make things worst where we are showing links to html sitemap !

It's impossible ... if you remove parameters after ";" you will broke the functionality of the forum. Anyway if you have a custom theme you need to change index.template.php according index.template.php from default template.

Yes we will have SB for guests ... on the next version Smiley
...the best thing is to generate this page from some scheduler or crontab ... I will document that in the next versions ...

we can't modify the structure of the url's beacuse we need this message id. in this moment is possible to have 2 types of url's for topics

http://site.com/board/topic-id.html
or
http://site.com/topic-id.html

May be I am lazy or not too attentive these days..
I just noticed that both domain.com and domain.com/forums.html are having same title.
I know it has to be something to do with Tinyportal ie. they should implement a option to have separate title for forum index and portal index.
But on TP did not found any solution. Is there any easy way (or I am missing something) so that I can assign seperate Title for forum.html and separate to portal index ? (ofcoruse sepearate other stuff too i.e meta tags)
BTW, I just realised SMF's dupicate content blocker inbuilt in profie and really its really nice.

Here's a suggestion of mine... I noticed this on another SEO'd forum and thought it would make things look a lot better if you implemented with your code.

/forums/name-my-car-t5818.0.html

to

/forums/5818/name-my-car/

Is it possible?

What about rewriting URL parameters, including SMF subactions?

For example:
http://www.webmasterstalks.com/post.html;topic=1027.30;num_replies=43
http://www.webmasterstalks.com/featuresettings.html;sa=layout;sesc=1a2b3c4d5e

;topic=1027.30, ;num_replies=42 and ;sa=layout contain the characters ; and =. Is it possible to replace ; with / (forward slash) and = with , (comma)? I'm talking about URLs like those generated by Joomla's core SEF and 3rd party SEF solutions.
