Ad management mod problem

Hmm I'm not sure what exactly you are asking (as I haven't worked much with ads).

Couldn't you just remove the ad management mod from your forum (which would take it off the forum index) and leave in your manual edits?  This way the ads will still be on your forum when you are there?

That's the impression I got from your description of the situation.
