The freeboards I have used, or will consider using for anyhting are phpBB and myBB. I chose myBB almost every time, unless there is a phpBB specific modification that I do not want to waste time coding and implementing into the myBB system.

Hi,

You need to have patience to see all the advantages and disavantages of each forum software. Is not easy to get a decision with so much software around us Smiley

I use mybb on http://adminhangout.com/forum/index.php and I like so far but as a replacement for a paid forum software such as vbulletin it does have potential.

No, I dont think that the URL's are like vBSEO. I think that forum was Modded to have the URL's like that. Because I saw another MyBB board where the URL's were just like vBulletin but not the vBSEO'd version.

I chose phpBB. Been using it for over 4 years, and phpBB3 is amazing. And free. Unlimited subforums, no limit to what you can customize, a TOS you create...it's awesome, and I love it. <3
