I use SMF and I have fallen in love with it! I am a forum nerd and SMF seems like the god of all forums to me. I like vbulletin but SMF is just like it in many ways and its free the thing about vbulletin I dislike the most is that if you buy it, you must keep their copyright info on it and I just dont get that at all! I mean I love supporting sites but when I buy turnkey scripts and stuff, id rather have my copyright on it, I usually link the site I bought it from anyway to show support and usually I give good reviews that they may add to their sites if they wanted to

I must admit I'm finding that I do like SMF, perhaps my next board will be SMF. I still love my phpbb but I like to try new things as well.

I use vBulletin on my site. I started with SMF last year, but I took to vBulletin because I find it much easier to mod & custonise.

I've decided to get VB for my next forum. Only reason is because I like it and won't have to make a ton of MODs to make it how I want it.

I am sticking with punbb and lately my eyes are occupied with mybb. Oh and I would never pay for forum software since there are very good free ones on the market
