WordPress is a bit different from Blogger, so I'm still learning how it works. I have quite a few questions about WordPress, and I'm hoping that someone in this forum can answer these question and help me out.

q1. Default installation apparently does not create right navigation or left navigation on each blog entry page. Can I just configure this or I need to install a new theme or modify the default theme?

q2. I want to modify header and footer. Do I need to modify theme php files or I can just modify some kind of template like Blogger's template?

Q1: It does create the navigation.
Q2: You can use the template system in the admin CP.
