register.com totally incompetent ...

register.com is one of companies that provide less quality service than it used to.  In fact, register.com has been making very serious mistakes recently.  register.com is currently offline, and its name servers are also offline.  So, if you are currently using its name servers, then ... well, your site is going offline as well.

GoDaddy is much cheaper, but GoDaddy has been much more reliable.  You don't always get what you pay for ...
