Hi,

A new very intersting article about how to DON'T place ads in your site is available on adsense blog http://adsense.blogspot.com/.

Quote
As you may know, our tips and guidelines mention that "users should only click on Google ads if they're interested in the services being advertised"

So google will warn you if you will place your ads that could lead to accidental clicks:

Some implementations that could lead to accidental clicks include placing your ads:

- In close proximity to Macromedia Flash games
- Under pop-ups or download prompts
- Near site navigation controls on your pages, such as drop-downs or menu links

What do you think about this article ? In my opinion is possible to have some cases when layout of your page could lead to some accidental clicks ...

Regards

There are chances of accidental clicks when you place them near or below site navigation but on the other hand.. they also lead user to see the ads and hence if interesting to them then will result in click..
So I think should not be problem if placed near site navigation which is ofcourse not the drop-down menu.. !!!

For example.. you have given place to "Text ad links" just below your site navigation... why don't they understand that it is one of the hot place to put ads.. isnt' ?
