Google + is part of the Google family, which means easy integration with many Google products that support small business. Not to mention, Google + is a great tool to help with small business SEO (search engine optimization) efforts for virtually any business. But i was wondering that can we get great traffic from it?And can we advertise freely there?

Any help will be appreciated!

Yes we can get traffic from Google + It is a social networking platform it is basically a sharing and you can use it for you business, brand and personal, so it will help you to generate traffic, You can use the +1 button on your website and if people will like it then they can share by clicking on +1 so it will be seen by others and they can also check out your website. I feel it a great way of sharing and their is a good chance of improving your site traffic through Google +1

Managing your business, even if it's a real-world store with a physical address, is increasingly moving into the online space. With that comes the need to maintain good online security practices to protect both your own information and that of your customers. Behind your password lies a wealth of data that can be very interesting to your competitors and criminals. You should see this data as a commodity, just like the product you are selling. And just like your product, you don’t want it to fall into the wrong hands.

Google plus helps a lot to small businesses as Google now gives priority to Google plus pages and likes in the top rankings of Google Search results. So this can help you a lot in bringing direct traffic to your business.

It's no secret most consumers are using the internet for local business searches. Yet, small "brick and mortar" businesses don't always recognize the value of establishing an online presence. One of the most powerful ways to establish and enhance web presence is to set up a Google Places page. By providing a 100% complete profile, listing with multiple credible "citation" sources, and engendering legitimate reviews small businesses can maintain or possibly improve their local competitive edge.

in our experience, Google Plus has worked very well for us. we would never have thought about opening an account before our SEO advisors mentioned it as part of their strategy but we have actually received traffic from this source so intend to keep sharing via the platform indefinitely.
