Increased Sandbox Time?

I'll be launching a new site in about a month or so. I know it'll be sandboxed for a while. I'm going to be gathering A LOT of links very quickly. I know it won't get me out of the sandbox. Are there any risks to doing this while i'm in the sandbox? i.e. getting sandboxed for longer?
