A friend advised me that there are some tools that one can use to find your ranking on google. Is there anyone here using such tools and could you recommend any?

Hi
There is a tool called PARAMeter(Page Rank Meter).
It is a free Google PageRank checking and monitoring tool. Here are its features:
-You can monitor PageRank in different Google datacenters now
-You can extract all URLs from a website to quickly check PageRank of each particular page
-Better Windows Vista support
-New interface

thanks

Google uses PageRank as one data point in its search-engine algorithm. All pages in Google's index have a PageRank value of between zero and 10. The ranking expresses the number and quality of other sites that link to the Web page. PageRank was originally developed to be similar to the ranking of academic articles; a higher rank is given to an article when other articles that cite it. The actual PageRank used by Google changes on a daily basis. There are a few steps to take to increase your ranking.

I have used the Rank tracker software for ranking report. It gives the exact rank of your keywords in the different search engines. It is more flexible than other tools.
