Hi
Before I use seosmf on my board, I just wonder about the cpu usage of this mod. I regulary have 150 / 200 members on line at the same time.
Thank you

Hmmm....I don't think it will take up a lot of resources, but if you have that many visitors on your board, you should already have quite a powerful server

I never tested on such large boards ... and I recommend to test with the next version (will be more optimized). Anyway when I start this mod was the first thing what I start thinking ... how is working with large board ... Smiley But if is working with smfseo then will work with my version either. Anyway read post about Url's ... http://www.webmasterstalks.com/seo-4-smf/seo4smf-urls-t923.0.html ... to see why is low cpu usage than any other version Smiley

Regards

Well I guess it depends on how much your server is currently using.
It shouldnt really take up that much power, however if you shoot up in the serps you will have a lot more users so thats something to think about.
whats your site by the way?

Well there are always problems with SEF-Tools and Usage of Ressources i think. Look at Open_Sef for joomla there was about 8 to 11 DB querys per URL, every time someone hits them - the only proper solving was to develop a build-in cache for the SEF-URLS.

I tried to avoid db queries  and I'm extracting all data from SMF variables ... So I'm trying to don't do any query for urls. Also SMF have support for cache what is a good thing !

That sounds very good!
Now what about a bridged version with joomla? There you can't enable cache - you can only enable the joomla-cache.
