How to Edit .htaccess

Hi all webmaster

i have ploblem about url with thai lang board. if i use url friendly  many of char unicode - -*

i want to use board url : http://domain.com/forum/idboard
and Topic   http://domain.com/forum/topicid


help me plz

Currently this mod does not re-write the urls that way. It would require changing the actual function that rewrites the forum urls and is more complicated than just editing the .htaccess file.

I am looking at this mod at the moment but I make no promises.
