Greetings. I love the idea of this mod and can't wait to get it working!

When I try and install the mod (.2rc7)on either of my SMF 1.1 Final boards I'm getting the following screen:

Quote
Installations actions for "Seo 4 SMF":
Installing this package will perform the following actions:
   Type    Action    Description
1.    Execute Modification    -    Modification parse error
2.    Extract File    ./htaccess.txt
3.    Extract File    ./sitemaps.php
4.    Extract File    ./urllist.php
5.    Extract File    ./seo4smf-copyright.txt
6.    Extract File    ./seo4smf-redirect.php
7.    Extract File    ./Themes/default/Seo4SMFAdmin.template.php
8.    Extract File    ./Sources/Seo4SMFAdmin.php
9.    Extract Tree    ./seo4smf_icons
10.    Execute Code    install.php

If I continue the mod looks like it installs, but I don't see any options in the admin screen under "features" to enable the mod. Any ideas?

I just downgrade php5 from my server because of that. I just dig it 1 day to solve this error and the problem is comming from php arrays.

Smf have 2 styles to distribute modifications:
1. Is standard SDK (my package is made in this way)
2. like Tinyportal Package.

All packages made in SDK way cannot be installed.

Do you use Linux Debian and backports ?

Not sure how to answer your question as I don't know exactly what "backports" is. I'm running a VPS on CentOS with cPanel running, but I also have someone who uses it as a development environment so that's why I switched to php5. I've been able to load a couple other mods without trouble, but it sounds like I won't be able to load this one Sad

They are talking about this problem over at the main SMF Boards. People there are convinced it is not PHP that's causing the problem.

In my forum I tested this problem ... I have both modules php4 and php5 ... and when I switch to php5 I canot install or uninstall any module ... every time I need to switch to php4 to do this things ... I also read the SMF board but I didn't get any conclusion !
