I have installed this mod but i have problem with page 2
now repaired with this modification:
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^board=([0-9]*).([0-9]*)
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ seo4smf-redirect.php?b=%1 [R=301,L]
to
RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^topic=([0-9]*).([0-9]*)

but remain problem with post number of page 2 etc.
Default option for friendly url is disabled:
This changes the format of URLs a little so search engines will like them better. They will look like index.php/topic,1.html.
This feature will work on your server.

I have also this error (with IE7, if i rename .htaccess all is good)
