What use do they have?

I've never used them before and i am wondering if it is worth turning that feature on.

Yes guys are some minor bugs with social bookmarks but on the latest version need to work ok ... anyway if you made a manual upgrade did your replace alll the files ? even seo4smf_icons ?

But what use are they really?
Is it a case of the more people who bookmark, the more interested a search engine will be?
