edit apache.conf or just talk with your provider/hosting to enable that.

sorry I forgot to add RewriteEngine on on the top of .htaccess. now everything seems ok. thanks for your patience and work for this awesome mod Smiley

Probably you don't enabled "Apache friendly url's from" Features and options section or you run php_cgi and not clean php !

First of all what version of seo4smf do you use ? I never relaseed this version : seo4smf-0[1][1].2.1.. Smiley I think you use 0.2.1 ... please use 0.2.3
and please check "Search engine friendly URLs" in Features and options from SMF admin area and tell me when are checked !
