This is the problem ... you can install without BoardIndex modification and for sitemaps you will need to send me the template to modify myself Smiley

I installed two times the mod and smf and seo4smf doesn't work.
The urls are the same old. I enable it in "Search engine friendly urls" option. From the readme i see it has not what other to do, only the .htaccess file, but the urls are still not se friendly, to be rewritten by mod_rewrite.
I am using apache web server.

You can see my forum here
http://checkyourpr.net/forums/
but add this line in your hosts file first (i am sorry for this)

No other mods are installed. This is clean install of smf with only seo4smf mod.
This is my second install, before this I tried installed it on my local machine (gentoo+apache+php) and was the same.

The platform is debian+apache+php. PHP is running with mod_php not as cgi.
I enabled only this
"Search engine friendly URLs Apache only!".

Where is this "seo4smf admin"?

Maybe mod_rewirte doesn't work now, I have to talk with the server admin to enabled it.
But I think I must see the seo urls in the forum pages, without mod_rewrite.

Mod rewrite its only for redirect when you click on a already rewrited link !
I admin section you need to see a Seo4SMf Admin under "Themes and Layout"

Probably the mod it's not installed ... do you have the right owner or permissions on SMF folder ? I thin smf doesn't give any error if it get an error ... At installing it ask you about your ftp account details ?
