After learning that seo4smf had a security hole ( http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=331492.0 ) I uninstalled the package and it appeared to be successful with no errors being reported in the uninstallation.

I then deleted my HT access files and the forum seems to operate as it should with this exception...

I downloaded and uploaded the latest seo4smf update and uploaded it to my packages folder... now when I go into the package's administration page none of the "apply mod" or "list files" links actually do anything... they just seem to refresh the page.  Any ideas what might be causing this?

Thanks for any ideas.

Are you sure you uploaded Seo4smf as a package from the board administration ? Or you used ftp?

Thanks for the quick reply... I had originally uploaded it via FTP.  I just tried again this time using the download package is upload feature within the administrative area to upload the plug-in.  The installation of the new updated plug-in was moving fine until I ran into this issue:

Duplicate entry 'seo4smf_enable' for key 1
File: /home/.skyblue/_forums/Packages/temp/install.php
Line: 41

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.10, while your database is at version 1.1.9. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

When I attempt to visit upgrade.php page it just dumped me back out to the forum home page.  Now if I try to click on a board I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: remove_signs() in /home/.skyblue/_forums/seo4smf-redirect.php on line 114

Thank you for any suggestions.

==================== solution ====================

Logged into my PHP my admin...

Opened up the following table: smf_ settings

Located about six different lines of references to seo4smf and then click on the delete button.

Login to the administrative area of the forum.  Click on "apply mod" for the newest version of seo4smf and complete the installation.

Everything is working now.
