do you normally design your own template, find a free one, or design your own.

Most of the time I make my own one, however I sometimes take an other as base for my layout. I let once create a template, but the designer stopped with it because he hadn't enough time for it.

If you do it yourself you can do what you want, templates are sometimes difficult to edit to your wishes, idem for layouts made by someone else.

I bought 3 months licence in a website that offers websites. And I downloaded some there. And I used few at different points. But now I design everything myself. Sometimes just finds icons around.
