why is it so hard to get indexed in yahoo

Does anyone else experience a lot of difficulty getting indexed in Yahoo? It takes a lot longer and they always index fewer pages on my sites. What's up?

I have normally found Yahoo very quick to index my pages.

I find it takes a long time to be indexed by Yahoo, they must just be slower. But I wouldn't say i've founder harder, it just tends to take longer.

Mine is indexed faster by Google! Seems like Yahoo hates me coz I'm having trouble ranking in their results!

My site is indexed after like a day or two , because of yahoo my site got hit with 1K visitors in 2 days. Now my theory is to use tags system and put the forums on front page, well not the forums but the posts ( if you are using tiny portal )

      I had my site first indexed in MSN and then in Yahoo. But its tough getting indexed in google alone.

When you go to submit to one of the major indexes like Yahoo, please take the time to find and read their submission guidelines, advice and limitations. The advice below is as accurate as I can make it, but policies change from time to time, and it can never be 100% up to date. The bigger the search engine, the more picky they are, so take your time and read carefully.
