Yahoo! used the beta version of the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) to customize IE7 to meet their needs. The IEAK is available to all developers and partners who want to create their own customized versions of IE7, as well as IT pros who want to use it to ease enterprise deployment. You can download it from the Microsoft Technet site

Actually, Yahoo and Microsoft have teamed up to compete against Google.

Good, Google needs some competition then maybe they'll stop with these 3 cent ads, my webspace is worth far more than 3 cents. It doesn't make sense to be giving someone close to $2.00 per click when the site was brand new with no content and no Pr but 6 months later tons of content, Pr3 and ads go to 3 cents. Please Yahoo hurry up and let me in.

Well, actually Google only offers Google toolbar.  Yahoo offers Yahoo version of a browser, so Yahoo is taking a step further.  I'm not so sure if this works well though.  Either Yahoo needs to ask users to download and install Yahoo version of IE or Yahoo needs to work with PC manufacturers like Dell to pre-install Yahoo version of IE.  Neither is easy.
